Delivery Information

EU delivery

Delivery to countries within the European Union (EU) has been temporarily suspended due to the GSPR product safety regulations being introduced on December 13, 2024. Customers in the EU will not be able to place any orders with the Shop until further notice. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

UK delivery

Shipping to the UK (addresses with a Royal Mail postcode) varies between £5 and £10, depending on the weight, shape and dimensions of the overall order.

Small and medium size UK orders (under 2kg) are posted using Royal Mail's first class 24hr tracked delivery service (received 1-2 days after dispatch).
For larger, heavier orders we use a courier like DPD or UPS

You should receive delivery within 3 - 5 working days. This will increase to 5 - 10 days during busy periods such as Christmas. You will receive an email confirmation when your parcel has been dispatched, and depending on the size, weight and value of your order, may contain a link to track the parcel's progress.

If no-one is able to take delivery and sign for the parcel, you should receive a missed delivery card from Royal Mail or the courier explaining how and where to collect your parcel or who to call to organise a re-delivery. If you don't collect your parcel within a certain period of time, it will be returned to the Museum. Re-delivery can be arranged but an additional postage charge will apply.

If your parcel doesn’t arrive within a reasonable period of time and you haven’t received any missed delivery card, please contact museums@rbkc.gov.uk and a member of the team will investigate for you.

International delivery

International shipping fees will vary by country depending on the size, weight and destination.

International orders are sent using a recorded delivery service such as DPD or UPS. Once your order has been packed and posted, you will receive a tracking link by email.

Delivery time will vary depending on the country's postal service and customs and parcels may be delayed at the destination until cleared by customs. The Museum has no control over the length of time a parcel is held and you will be responsible for paying any additional import duties or taxes.

Please note that customs policies vary widely from country to country and we advise you to contact your local customs office for further information. Please be aware that international deliveries may be opened and inspected by custom authorities

Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. If your parcel does not arrive within 3 weeks, please contact museums@rbkc.gov.uk and a member of the team will investigate this for you.
